Can You Make Money With Online Content?

Can you make money with online content? Yes you can. However, if you're not making money from your online content, here's why.

There's very little money in online advertisement.
Most content creators use ad banners to make money. But due to the economy, and due to the unpredictable nature of online advertising, there isn't much money in it. This is why WatchMojo.com had de-emphasized an ad-supported model in favour of licensing fees paid by other media companies to access and use their media. This is also why individual content creators, and online media companies, rely on selling products and services. Many individual content creators offer services through Patreon.com.

There's too much competition.
When you create online content, you're actually competing against millions of other content creators. Due to the tough competition, it's very tough to get noticed.

It's been done before.
In order to stand out from the crowd, you'll need to come up with an original idea. However, just when you think you've come up with an original idea, it has been done before. Here's an idea, let's review videos that pisses you off. To make your reviews more interesting, let's review vintage video games. Oh, I forgot. That's been done already.

Your content sucks
For years, I thought that I've created good content for the world wide web. But it turns out that wasn't the case. So how can you tell of your content sucks or not? Simply ask people for feedback. Keep in mind, most people will combine legitimate critisims with childish insults.
